Pure mathematics is the foundation upon which all mathematics is built.  Students who enjoyed the challenge of problem solving at GCSE using mathematical techniques will find this course very appealing.
Students will gain a good understanding of key mathematical tools - including Functions, Calculus, Co-ordinate Geometry, Trigonometry and advanced Algebra including Sequences & Series

At A level we study the collection and interpretation of numerical data - connecting everyday situations with known mathematical models.
Students will learn how to compare data, make statistical inferences and judge the validity of (so-called) statistical evidence.  We formulate algebraic connections between variables and carry out statistical tests
