Much of what we learn in Mechanics is technique – how to solve problems and how to tackle A level questions. Success in any technique comes with practice – so try as many questions from A level papers as you can – practice, practice, practice….
These answers on their own won’t get you full marks. Indeed you get most of your marks from interpreting the problem correctly and building the correct mathematical equations to model it. You must show very clear working that follows the principles of Mechanics that you have learned.
Use these answers to check your working. If you get the right answer then you have probably used the right thinking, and if you lay your working out clearly you should get full marks
If you don’t get the right answer, and you cannot find your mistake, talk it over with your colleagues or ask your teacher – he will be most happy to help you out!
This page contains the answers to the A level practice papers you have been doing.
The full mark schemes are kept by your teacher
